G-Sync monitors work with FreeSync on AMD GPUs.

 

FreeSync monitors work with G-Sync on Nvidia GPUs.

 

They're basically interchangeable nowadays. Only a few older models have issues when you mix AMD and Nvidia technologies.

That monitor supports AMD FreeSync. Always check the Specifications pages, not just the ad copy on the sales pages. 😉

Modern Nvidia cards should work with FreeSync monitors over DisplayPort.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
