Mixed up power cables

I'd use the one rated for more amps for the PSU. Your monitor is unlikely to pull that many amps.

 

~edit: for reference, 240V x 10A would be 2400W maximum that could go through that cable. So either one should be fine for either device.

I’m just cleaning my room and all the wires just got bunched up and now I’m confused on what is the power cable for my psu and monitor.

 

My monitor is Viewsonic XG2405

and my PSU is Cooler Master MWEv2 650 Bronze

 

One power cable is labeled 7A and the other is 10A

This is why I like the UK, all "kettle leads" as we call them, (the ones that go in PSUs and such) are rated for 13Amps @250VAC 

 

Need a lower rating, just change out the fuse in the plug
