I'm not a specialist of iPhones but can't you do that from your iCloud account ?

Even if your data isn't backed up in the cloud, you can unlock your device via your iCloud account.

Unless things changed since the last time I had to check how it worked...

Apparently not, you need to unlock your phone to unlock your phone 🙄

Unethical suggestion: get a replacement screen from Amazon just for this purpose and return it afterwards

Couldn't you unlock your phone remotely from iCloud on a browser client, though?
