I was really hoping to get that 5TB :)) like and online drive connected to you PC

something like google drive partition in your pc

Google Drive doesn't work like that, either. (Neither does Dropbox.)

They all cache the files you're using on your local machine. Files you're not using get deleted from the local copy, but their icons remain. When you need them, they're transparently downloaded to your machine. Google Drive just creates the illusion of having an X TB drive attached to your computer.

I have a onedrive account that has 5tb storage. i was wondering If I could use that space as an external drive. After doing some research I found a way "Network Mapping"but its showing an error

I added it to my trusted sites via internet options I even lowered my security to medium

I also did this according to ChatGPT

I can't seem to find any way to solve this problem. it would be a great help if I could do it

OneDrive already maps itself to a folder under your user profile. You can map a drive letter to that folder with the subst command.

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-server/administration/windows-commands/subst

That won't work exactly like an external drive, since you'll still have local copies of files, but that's just how OneDrive works. You're not directly accessing OneDrive through SMB as if it was a local file server.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

I quite understand now. I somehow managed to map it but then I realized nothing actually changedimage.png.d4750fdf0d2fa1d3d5ccc8433461bd0d.png
