Name of Brand:

Deltahub

Description of your issue:

Spamming my inbox with 2 unrelated emails to the drop within 36 hours of signing up for the drop and four more unnecessary emails after ordering.

Hearting a comment that is insulting LTT when the post is about the LTT collaboration. Pretty poor taste.IMG_0584.thumb.jpeg.0a030f511943b23b44f7af60a6b4e561.jpeg.6387161d066ad02eadb0ec787bb90198.jpeg

Have you tried solving your issue through the brand's customer support channel? If so, what was the result?

The email with some random video was also asking for new spam suggestions (content ideas for future emails) via a reply.

I replied but of course that was ignored.

No option was given to avoid marketing or spam emails while signing up for the drop.

I have already clicked unsubscribe after the last email.

I have requested a full refund.

What would an ideal resolution of your issue look like?

A full refund and to stop spamming people who signed up for the LTT drop notifications.

LTT should do better in the future with who they collaborate with, especially with how much spam and advertising is criticized on the WAN show.

Hey @BoBae,

Thanks for bringing this to our attention! We've also seen a few other concerns about some of the company's usage of our collaboration via other sources. We were clear in terms of establishing "do's and don'ts", which included us having visibility on all promotional content using our likeness, as well as very adamant that emails we're kept to a minimum and only pertained to updates to the product launch.

We genuinely believe in the product and the value it brings; we wouldn't have collaborated if that wasn't the case! Multiple revisions to the product were made over months of planning in order to bring y'all a collaboration that both DeltaHub and LMG are proud of. That being said, we completely agree that there are glaring post-launch concerns that need to be addressed. Nowhere during our communication with them did we get the impression that these issues would present themselves.

We will be having a chat with them as soon as possible. Let's hope there was just a misunderstanding on expectations, but regardless, we will be taking action regarding any concerns over this collaboration.

A big thank you,

Steve

I have received four more marketing emails this week… one came Friday afternoon.  All of this is after unsubscribing from emails.

Extremely annoying and disappointing.

Also illegal in many places!

Recommend you report this to your government's version of the FTC

After receiving an email reply today from the head of marketing, Zala Gajser, stating they fixed the “backend” issue, I am still receiving marketing emails as of 10 minutes ago. Again, this is after I had unsubscribed and expressed my issues with the spam via email, both with the director of marketing and Deltahub support.

I should not have to block their domain because:

1. The CAN-SPAM Act makes this illegal

2. I was told explicitly by the Head of Marketing this was fixed.

Sadly I think they mean for any new signups. You email may be removed from their own system, but as seen with some other sites, when its added to mailing list handled by 3rd party company, its shared to wider network.

If it's from the same domain, I would suggest reminding them that it's against CAN-SPAM and unless it stops within xyz time you will be reporting their illegal actions to the FTC [with a helpful reminder that violating such a law has financial penalties per email sent]

Hey @BoBae,

I was told the same thing and that users that made a purchase of our collaboration product were removed from the list within 48 hours of the problem being identified. My contact over there said that there may be a few outliers that were unintentionally missed. Would you mind DMing me the info you used to checkout (just email should be enough)? I'll send this right over and we'll get it sorted out for you.

Thanks,
