Yeah since unigene is using the igpu something is way weird here.

I'd say get DDU (display driver uninstaller) and remove the driver for your gpu's and reinstall the latest for the 7800xt

CPU:7800X3D, MB:B650 GAMING X AV V2, GPU:7800XT, RAM:DDR5 2*16, PSU:850W, SSD-M.2

New build, updated drivers, is very laggy and visually dissatisfiyng trying to run "Tiny Tina's wonderlands" and even "Valorant", "Apex", "League of Legends"

Started with 1440p but even on 1080p very laggy and image quality disappointing to say the least, average 22FPS

Please help, what the hell am I missing, I really thought the setup is tight and I'd be blasting FPS at the rate of half the price of the GPU

A lot of things might be missing first - Can you check if xmp enabled then resize bar.

Then check if there is a temp issue. If cooler didn't mount properly or a bad cooler then you hit thermal throttle.

A pic of built too please.

how its goin mate ? hope my post helps. Maybe drop a like or follow ? >w<

no ? i guessed that 😄

Did you mount the cooler correctly? Check temps while running cinebench r23 with hwinfo64 (run in sensors only mode). Check if expo is on in BIOS. If you changed anything from auto, then set it to auto again. Please list the rest of your specs, also ram speed, coolers, case etc.

Aside from the 2 good advices above.

Used some benchmark software:

Cinebench r23 for cpu

Unigene superposition on max settings at 1080p for the gpu

And well keep an eye on the temps over 85c on the gpu will start thermal throthling.

Over 95c on the cpu same story.

If the scores are low for one or both of them we have more info to know what could be wrong.

I want to thank everyone who replied and hope you see this and that I'm replying correctly

I need help because I'm still a newbie and don't properly understand some of your suggestions

Case - Antec AX61 Elite

RAM - Corsair DDR5 32G (2x16G) 6000 CL30 Vengeance RGB Black

CPU air cooling - coolleo Etian P50i Symphony ARGB

I am plugged to the GPU, tried with a DisplayPort and HDMI

I don't understand what the Cinebench tells me, tested for 10 minutes

Multi core is 17210pts - HWinfo says CPU (tdie) max 87.5°, Die - 86.2°

Reseted the value timer for next test

Single core is 1777pts - HWinfo says CPU (tdie) max 73.1°, Die - 70.6°

MP - 9.48 x

EXPO is enabled and also resize

Seemed like Unigune tested my CPU when choosing benchmark > performance > 1080p extreme

Thank you again and in advance

Ok so are you plugging the monitor cables in the motherboard or the gpu?

If it's in the motherboard there is your issue you are using the built in gpu of the cpu which is very weak compared to your actual gpu

I wrote I am plugged to the GPU, but I'm inferring you're suggesting from what I wrote that it's not utilized properly

You’ve probably already been asked this but where do you have the cable that connects to the monitor plugged in on the pc? If it’s plugged in to the motherboard than it would be running off of integrated graphics. Plugging it directly into the Gpu is what you need to do.
