Hey guys, with the shutdown of the 360 store, it sparked some fond memories of 360 games that are NOT supported by newer hardware/consoles, and was curious if Xenia or similar has gotten usable since last I tried it?

Framerates were playable (30-60 fps), but assets would occasionally just render as all black.

Also remember it was a nightmare to get it running with any file at all.

Just curious if it's gotten better like at all, hoping one day for like Dolphin level of refinement, but given the PowerPC architecture and how many functionality workarounds there were on ooriginal hardware: I'm keeping my expectations realistic.

I sure hope at some point Xenia becomes mostly functional. Backwards compatibility might as well be non existent in the new consoles in my opinion, as it is such a small percentage of the 360 library.

Every time I've looked it's still very much a work in progress. Still making progress at least.

Compatibility is still rubbish for 90% of games. It doesn't really progress. Certainly not as fast of a development compared to the big N consoles. Probably because there isn't that many good games on the 360 that haven't been ported to PC or available on other consoles.
