So im unsure if this is the right topic but i recently rearanged my room and bumped my computer and it blue screened and my windows boot image/iso is corrupted. I am using Ubuntu (i know is not the best linux distro but its temporary for now) Ive tried to use ventoy but when i boot into my Usb thumb drive i get a corruption error that tells me im missing files to start up windows boot manager, me and my dad are not very well off and were probably just going to buy a new windows key but if there is any work around it would save us alot of money and help me out a lot i need to do school on here and idk if ubuntu is gonna cut it for what im doing please let me know if there are any fixes or work arounds for my ventoy or my boot image, Thank you

First try making a windows install USB on some other computer and do startup repair

As for a new windows key, aside from the fact that you can completely use windows without activating, there are also places that sell keys for under 10$

Have you tried multiple USBs? You need to make sure your PC is booting from the USB as well so you'll have to change boot order, usually found in the BIOS
