Z87 PRO SLI?

so i want to SLI 770's but on the website it only says quad gpu. well it has 2 x8 slots so it could do SLI. But i'm not sure it could as i have seen some people struggling to get it to register the second card.

 

*2  With 2 PCIex16 graphics card.

You'll be fine... SLI only requires 8x.

 

It only says Quad, because if it can do quad, it can do 3, and 2, and one.

It probably says Quad for AMD GPU's. SLI requires the PCI-E lanes to be running at 8x or above speed where as AMD requires 4x or above speed.

i run two SLI 770 with one on an 8x lane so you are fine the only thing to watch out for is heat, that is the only problem I am running in with mine

i should be ok as i have a 140mm fan right next where they would be

that should be fine, are they both going to be the current GPU that you are running or a combination of different brands
