low gpu power consumption

Hi everybody, i have hp victus 16 (i5 12500H RTX 3060 16GB DDR5 Ram) and it has a problem. While im using my laptop my gpu power consumption suddenly drops to 30w (normally around 85w-90w). And weirdly when i unplug power connector and plug it back everything is going back to normal. I reinstalled windows 11 and all my drivers updated. I also changed thermal paste.

First screenshot shows your GPU is running at 400mhz and using 30ws. Your CPU is also running very hot. Details?

Has this phenomenon always happened since you have the laptop, or did it appear recently?

it's been happening for nearly 1 month

Your CPU is cooking, could be that the laptop does that to keep safe, otherwise could be a software issue caused by something that exists in both your Windows installs.

 

The tip I would give you is to limit your FPS to 60, you can just use the in game option for a game like BG3. Limiting your FPS to 60 or below will substantially lower your CPU labour and lower your CPU temps.
