You might struggle to run the memory at 6000 Mhz CL30 with 4 sticks on AM5 unfortunately. This is a known issue on AM5.

2x32GB sticks would be much better.

Why spend 20 quid on thermal paste when the Noctua cooler comes with very good paste from factory.

The Seasonic Vertex PX is very overpriced compared to other 10-12 year warranty PSU's on the market but it is a damn solid unit and I am looking to get a PX or GX 1200 myself.   Nothing wrong with the PX-850w but its double the price of a reputable 850w gold PSU with 10 year warranty.

Other than that, looks great! 👍

I'm going to use the TIM on the Noctua, but I'd rather be safe and have some back up of what others call "The good stuff"/I plan on building another PC soon so I'd rather have some on hand then having to buy some more.

I know, it's just one of those things I don't want to mess with. I've had bad experiences in the past with bad PSUs, so its pretty much all or nothing to me now.

Sure!  Why not 🙂

I totally get it. This is the reason I am getting a GX or PX Vertex 1200 whenever they update that to the ATX 3.1

I did contact Seasonic about this and they will update the Focus and Prime lineup first with the ATX 3.1 and the rest to follow sometime next year.

Quality PSU's for me is the most important since I never turn my system off ( Maybe once every 4-5 months for a system restart )

So a quality PSU like the PX from Seasonic keeps me worry free 🙂

That being said, my RM750i from Corsair has been running trouble free and completely silent since 2019.

And regarding the case, who cares!  Do what YOU or your wife wants 🙂

I'm still rocking the Corsair Carbide 760T... its over 10 year sold at this point.

What part would you rate is the worst?

5 glaring flaws

4 sticks of ddr5

horrifically overpriced psu

overpriced meh cooler (ps120 is better)

horrifically overpriced sata ssd (more expensive than a high end dram gen4 of the same capacity)

afaik noctua industrial fans arent quiet, theyre named that for a reason

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FvYjrv

also upgraded the samsung ssd to a 2tb gen4, psu to a 1200w, and the gpu to a 7900xt

That case is really not up to the standards of newer ones, if you and your wife like the design then it's OK, if you do go for that case then swap the atx board in my list to the matx board you had listed. I also added another case just to see if you like the look of a newer case

Instead of two drives get one 2tb NVME

Noctua fans are good but one of them costs as much as 5 P12 maxes

Thermal paste comes with the cooler (EDIT: if you would like some extra then it's fine but get arctic MX-6 instead of $21 thermal paste)

But the noctua cooler isn't amazing value. It's got good longevity but the thermalright PS120SE performs better for 1/3 less

Get 2 sticks of 32gb instead of 4 sticks of 16gb

I changed PSU only for price. The bequiet! is a very reliable option with a 10 year warranty so I believe it'll be a great option. Though it is your choice

I'd get a 7900 XTX
