That PSU is a bad group regulated unit with terrible voltage regulation and lack of protections. It's only 576w @12v so in fact it's a 576w PSU at best. I recommand to replace this PSU for a much more modern unit. https://hwbusters.com/best_picks/best-atxv3-pcie5-ready-psus-picks-hardware-busters/

I would usually say its fine but considering you are pairing a decently expensive CPU with a unknown quality motherboard and PSU, I am going to recommend you to rethink that choice.

I got this maxsun b760m d5 mobo and it needs 8+4 cpu power. Cpu I use is 12600kf.

My power supply is 700w but only has 4+4 for cpu. This is enough for my cpu needs? I won't be overclocking the cpu and not my gpu.

Memory I will xmp. ddr5 16gb x 2, 7000mhz.

gpu 1080ti.

According to what I know the last 4pin power for cpu on the mobo is for heavy overclocking. Right?

Yes, you do not need the last 4 pin on the motherboard for the 12600kf 🙂  the 4+4 is plenty enough!

The extra is for heavy overclocking or to look better 🙂

That being said.  The Kolink is not a good PSU.  The Kolink Core series is on the AVOID: Tierlist for PSU's.

Yeah I know, I've own two of these for three years so far they work. On my main system I got a solid expensive unit tho. I'll look for alternatives. Anything around the 80euro mark? Would like rgb, top mounted psu case.

Great list btw!

There are no decent RGB PSU's in that price range I can find.  Only crap tier PSU's that use RGB to lure customers to think its good because they look 'Gamery'

Yeah when a PSU says it's 700W yet has only some 570W on the 12v, while writing that it is "600w regular, 700W max" ... you gotta question what quality PSU it really is. Especially when it barely makes up to the 80 Plus white beige on 2024. Alright well, I fully realize the latter doesn't matter as much, but still...

I suppose you want a WHITE RGB PSU, in that case... maybe something Corsair RM. You don't need 850W, 750 is more than ought to be fino.

Agreed. Black or white, don't matter.

150euros here.

Where are you from? I will be able to search for PSU's within your price range more effectively.

Currently in Finland for a few months, from sweden. Going into. LAN-party pc, so it would be nice if it looks good. Also like I mentioned it's a top mounted psu case.

heres a useful link for psu pricing here.

I would get this one.

It comes with a 5 or 7 year warranty.  Can't really find the exact on this.

I have recommended this PSU range multiple times.  Decent unit without being explody 😄

I just realized that I won't even see the side of the psu that usually has the rgb from the case since the mounting is like this.
