Budget (including currency): $3000 CAD before tax but its okay if its over by $200~$300

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Fortnite, cyberpunk, any new triple A games, and solid works

I want a nice powerful gaming pc at this price and so far based on my research i have narrowed it down but I am struggling on what exact config to use, should i do an all amd build (7950X3D with 7900XTX), or half and half (7950X3D with 4080 super) or should I go traditional ( i9 14900k with 4080 super), any suggestions and also could you recommend a nice 1440p or 4k monitor that is 27 inches or 32 inches that is less than $1000 cad, thanks in advanced.

Please note that the monitor budget is separate from the pc budget and id like to try and keep everything under $5000 Cad after tax, also for the monitor id like something bright preferably 600 nits or more, and Id like good color accuracy like 98% of DCIP but if thats not possible just list the brightness and color accuracy with the display so that I can choose easily, thanks again to anyone who helps.

Why 7950X3D instead of 7800X3D?

Pick GPU based on whichever features you like most for the price. Either card performs nicely.

the 7950 X3D performs better than the 7800X3D in professional applications based on what im seeing, and if i get a better cpu now then in the future all i need to do is change the gpu for better gaming performance, but im open to ideas if anyone wants to make a whole build from scratch just keep in mind id like at least 32gb of ram, and as for the graphics card im torn on the two because the 4080 is better at ray tracing and i havent heard much in terms of amd, so i thought id ask here since people here might have either card

This will stretch your budget close to max, but it's niiice 🙂

I'd get a 4080S now over a 7900XTX, it's more efficient, has better RT and DLSS, for not  much more money with the price drops

So im guessing based on the two builds that everyone agrees that the 7950X3D is better than the 14900k?
