Friend wanted a very small and aesthetically pleasing workstation for Autocad and several other Architect Programs. So i built this....

Specs:

Case: Rosewill Legacy U2

PSU: CX600M

CPU: Xeon E3 1240v3

Motherboard: Gigabyte B85N

Cooler: H55 w/ NF-P12

Memory: 16gb Crucial Ballistix Tactical LP

Storage: 250gb Samsung EVO + 1 TB WD Black

GPU: MSI GTX 760 ITX

I think its pretty beast for 0.5 cubic feet and it was a lot of fun to assemble... too bad i can't keep it lol.

pretty awesome! especially that case. I actually really like it. This is some good mini itx inspiration.

@ltguy How was the cable management experience?

Also, how did you mount that hard drive to the front?

Aesthetics of rigs matter

The cable management wasn't too bad since i used a short psu and there's some room under the front hard drive mount to route cables.  The hard drive mounts to front fan mount with 4 screws. The ssd is zip tied down upside down because just like with the prodigy case i put together...they insist upon having hard drive mounts on bottom of cases but ignore the fact that most sata power cables are right angle and cant be flush mounted.

Last attempt to clean up psu wires.
