Boot problems after new cpu

I recently bought a 4770k to upgrade from my i3.  However, after installing the i7, my pc won't boot.  The pc makes like it is going to boot, but then quickly resets, and the cycle continues.  I looked at the cpu socket and it appears that there might be a bent pin, but i'm not certain.  Are there any other possibilities for what may be the issue, and if so, what should be my course of action? Thank you.

i3 4330 (old cpu)

i7 4770k (new cpu)

Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3

MSI Twin Frozr R9-270

Corsair 850W 80 Plus Gold

bent pin pretty much means you can scrap your motherboard, unless you manage to bend it back (difficult). try to make sure if there really is one. otherwise you could try updating your BIOS.

Just do a fresh install of your os
