Hey All

I am considering to upgade my 9 year old rig now.

 

i3 - 6100

8gb DDR3 RAM

ECS H110M Motherboard 

GTX 960 2GB

N power supply is 600w bronze 

 

And planning to upgrade to 10,11,12 th gen i5 with a cheap, decent motherboard ddr4 ram and all. And will upgrade the gpu later with 3060 12 gb variant.

I am trying to make a low budget build so good enough components that could last a while.

 

i5 (10,11,12 th gen)

Gpu - 3060 12gb version 

DDR4 ram

Location - India 

budget - 600$

Display - 1080p

games - AAA

 

Can anyone please suggest a good motherboard for this spec. 

 

Also, is grounding band required while building? If i work keeping the rig on ground will it short too?

Will the stock cooler be sufficient or do i need to shell out dome more for a dedicated cooler as you guys are suggesting?

 

Also, about the Earthing band, do i need it if i m building on floor only, no carpet?

well these lower speed and powerdraw CPUs don't really need a beefy cooler, though getting one is nice if you really have lava outside in summer
