Hi guys, I'm not that much into tablets but my mother wants one.

She will be playing games watching movies, casual stuff.

She wants a 10" tablet, and she has a good deal on Galaxy Tab 3 "10.1, and the Lenovo Yoga 10".

Which one to chose? The Lenovo has a Quad Core 1.2 ARM processor with a Cortex A7, while the Tab 3 has a Dual core 1.6 Atom. Both feature 1gb of RAM and a 1280x800 screen.

I don't really know how much of a difference this processors can make, and I really don't know if quad core or dual really matters. As for the ram, 1gb should be plenty, Am I right?

What caught my eye was the Lenovo, with an IPS screen and a larger batter (might need it for the quad core processor though) While the Samsung Tab 3 has a TFT screen and a  smaller battery but it's a bit lighter. Also I'm not sure about that lump the Yoga has, It might be a bit weird to hold.

What do you guys say?

How about an ipad? OSX is great for noobs like mothers and grandparents who don't know anything about technology. Apple is more noob friendly with that kind of stuff.

How much money can she spend? And where are you from?

From those 2, samsung has great features like multi window, but pretty much all their tablets have sometimes lag, the lenovo has a much larger battery and front facing speakers which are nice features to have.

In terms of processor, they should be similar:
