Audio/Headphones Driver Issues PLEASE HELP

sv3nm

Good day.

I'm on the verge of going nuts.

I have had my headset plugged into my Samson C01U Pro Microphone via AUX for a while now, and it has worked just fine.

However, I decided to switch back to one of my other headsets (Hyper X Cloud 2), which has a USB port and now needs to be connected to my PC/Motherboard.

I haven't been able to get any around out of it.

I tried switching to other USB ports to reinstall the drivers, but nothing worked, even though other devices like the microphone, mouse, keyboard and webcam work perfectly.

I have an Asus motherboard and double-checked that everything is up to date.

Now, on the device manager, I believe I found the problem, but I am unsure how to fix it.

Under my Sound, Video & Game controllers, there's a device called "Sonic Studion Virtual Mixer" that has an error indicator:

And has a Code 37 error:

Then below under the Universal Serial Bus controllers, I have what I believe is my headset as an "unknown USB device" with an error notification:

With the following error code:

Feel free to let me know if you guys need more information.

I would appreciate any help or advice to resolve this issue🙏

Kind regards

sv3nm

maybe try forgetting the device and replugging it. It maybe just didn't configure correctly.

I uninstalled it, plugged it out, and restarted my PC. Everything looked good once it was back on until I plugged the headset back in, and then these errors popped up.

I've tried it with other headphones, but it's giving the same problem.
