4070 super vs 4060 Ti

Millios

I got a chance to change a gpu from a 4060 to either a Ti or a 4070 Super for 310 euros and 450 euros respectively. Both can fit into my budget however I do not know which would work better and be more useful with a Ryzen 5 7600. Which should i pick? Or should i stay with a 4060 and save up?

how's performance now? if you don't any more stay on your 4060

a 4060 ti would not be worth it for 310 euros if you've already got a 4060. It also depends what resolution

These cards are both on a deal aren't they? Since 310 euros for a 4060 ti and 450 euros for a 4070 super seems strangely low

Are these listings on amazon? if so do you have links?

neither would bottleneck (be too much) for the 7600, even at 1080p

4060ti often can't even beat 3060ti while 4070 is quite a bit better than 3070.

4060ti is really one of the worst value cards. IMO either stick with your 4060 or go all the way to 4070.

Actually the deal is through a friend of mine for a build. So i cannot provide a link cause its a private chat. for 1080p and 1440p is the resolution i wanted it for tho. Basically im asking " i want a new pc and can get either of these gpus so which one is a better choice?"

Besides what I've heard about some issues/needed tweaks till it gets to be fully usable, the main reason I'm asking about these two is cause through a friend I can get them for MUCH cheaper than i would normally for my country.

4070 Super is probably better,

4060Ti is also only 8GB of VRAM, 70 Super has 12GB which isn't much but it's 4GB more, and for 1440p you want some spare VRAM at your disposal

AMD would have already ceased operation if what you 'heard' was anywhere close to reality...

That aside, the 4070 Super competes with the 3080/3080Ti and outclasses the 3070/4060 series

I suggest this if you can also find one for around 450 Euro:

What ive mostly heard was that it probably will need some setting up before use (whether its true or not im not 100% sure) so you can use it normally like an rtx. Also the reason im staying between these 3 (4060, 4060 ti, 4070 super) is cause its from a friend of mine (not used just cheaper cause he has discounts and better deals due to work). I do appreciate the alternative choices however my budget allows me to use only one of these cause of the friend who can provide them for cheaper in my country.

I too have heard some wild stuff from friends close and beyond.

Anyway, I'd go straight for the 4070 Super. Bottleneck or not, it is going to outperform the 4060 by a wide margin
