Does your current cooler use the stock AMD back plate for AM4? If yes, then it should just work. Otherwise, you'll need to contact Cooler Master to see if they can provide you with an AM5 upgrade kit, though given you're in India (from your last few posts), that might be easier said than done.

IIRC there's two revisions of the Hyper 212X, one that uses the stock backplate and one that uses an alternative backplate, so you just have to see which one you have to know if it's compatible.

Worst case scenario, the R5 7600 comes with a stock cooler, and you can always just use that until you can source the new mounting hardware (assuming you need it).

Or a thermalright tower cooler as if they need the new hardware rhats usually 17$ incl shipping which is a tad more than a better cooler from thermalright 😛

Can you afford to get another cooler?

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂
