PC Build Advice Needed: Your Input Wanted! :)

Hey everyone,
Being a beginner, I'm planning to assemble a new PC and wanted to get your opinions on the components I've chosen. Here's what I'm considering( Note : GPU is not mentioned in the below list because that I'll consider later):-

• Processor: i5 12400K
• RAM: FURY Beast RGB 16GB 3200MHz DDR4
• CPU Cooler: Deepcool AG400 LED Single Tower 120 mm CPU Air Cooler
• Storage: Kingston KC3000 PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD
• Case: Galax (Rev-06) Revolution
• Monitor: BenQ Gw2790Qt 27 Inch (68 Cm) IPS Qhd 75Hz Monitor-Height Adjust,99% Srgb,Eye Safe Certified,Brightness Intelligence,Noise Filter Speakers,USB-C(Pd 65W),Hdmi,Dp,USB Hub,Coding Mode,Daisy Chain(White) Monitor
• Power Supply: Deepcool PK550D, 550 Watt, 80 Plus Bronze Certified Power Supply

I'm particularly concerned about the compatibility of these components.
Do you think they'll well compatible together?
Are there any potential issues I should be aware of?
Also, I'm unsure if the processor I've chosen is the right fit for my needs.
I'm also open to suggestions! If you think any changes I should make to optimize performance or compatibility

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Do you mean the 12600K or 12400F? The 12400K doesnt exist

Id get a thermalright phantom spirit instead of the AG400, pretty much the same price for a lot better performance

The KC3000 is a sort of expensive SSD, you could get a much cheaper one and not notice much of any difference in speed

The PSU isnt the best, check here and id go for BTier or above

System specs:

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D [-30 PBO all core]

GPU: Sapphire AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT NITRO+ [1050mV, 2.8GHz core, 2.6Ghz mem]

Motherboard: MSI MAG B650 TOMAHAWK WIFI

RAM: G.Skill Trident Z5 NEO RGB 32GB 6000MHz CL32 DDR5

Storage: 2TB SN850X, 1TB SN850 w/ heatsink, 500GB P5 Plus (OS Storage)

Case: 5000D AIRFLOW

Cooler: Thermalright Frost Commander 140

PSU: Corsair RM850e

Agreed with @TatamiMatt. If you're building a PC for gaming, of course, you GPU should be your primary consideration - if not though, then considering it later is ok. What is your primary use case for the computer?

Okay, so the issues...

1) You've given no budget, usecase or location. We need to know these things to advise you any sense.

2) There is no motherboard listed here, so no way to tell if it all really fits together any sense.

3) A 550W PSU is very limiting

4) You likely want to consider all your parts at the same time to get the best deal.

I might be experienced, but I'm human and I do make mistakes. Expand for common PC building advice, a short bio and a list of my components and other tech. I edit my messages after sending them alot, please refresh before posting your reply. Please try to be clear and specific, you'll get a better answer. Please remember to mark solutions once you have the information you need.

Common build advice: 1) Buy the cheapest (well reviewed) motherboard that has the features you need. Paying more typically only gets you features you won’t use. 2) only get as much RAM as you need, getting more won’t (typically) make your PC faster. 3) While I recommend getting an NVMe drive, you don’t need to splurge for an expensive drive with DRam cache, DRamless drives are fine for gamers. 4) paying for looks is fine, just don’t break the bank. 5) Tower coolers are usually good enough, unless you go top tier Intel or plan on OCing. 6) OCing is a dead meme, you probably shouldn’t bother. 7) "Bottlenecks" rarely matter and "Future-proofing" is a myth. 8) AIOs don't noticably improve performance past 240mm.

very good point

@sarve this matters cause a 12400F can't provide a graphical output and therefore the system will require a GPU.
