New YouTube comments section UI

My layout has just changed and I can see that a few others over the last few months have been having this happen to them. You'd be forgiven for thinking this was a screenshot of the YouTube front page but this from the comments section from a recent LTT video. Completely unusable, it's 1/4th the size and off to the side. You get 8-10 words per line.

So far I can't find any extensions or anything that reverses this but hopefully chad programmers come through.
