Ram stuck at over 80%

So, I have a pretty recent PC from 2021. It has an i3 10100f and 8gb of ram. My problem is that the ram is always over 80%. When I open a ram-intensive application, it does reallocate the memory a lil, but that doesn't always help. What do I even do? There isn't even like a hoarding process. HELP

8GB of RAM isnt a lot, this seems like normal usage, only thing you could do is minimise background processes like phone link, google drive, game bar etc

Or get more RAM

windows uses up about 4 GB by itself, so you really only have 4GB to play with in other applications, you'll have to limit the number of tasks and prioritize what you want to do

Ryzen 5800X3D(Because who doesn't like a phat stack of cache?) GPU - 7700Xt

                                                           X470 Strix f gaming, 32GB Corsair vengeance, WD Blue 500GB NVME-WD Blue2TB HDD, 700watts EVGA Br

~Extra L3 cache is exciting, every time you load up a new game or program you never know what your going to get, will it perform like a 5700x or are we beating the 14900k today? 😅~

If you just use the pc for basic tasks, you can try using linux, because it uses way less ram than windows, and it might actually help in your case

Like @TatamiMatt said, 8gb isn't a lot. I think we are actually starting to move to 34gb as a good amount. Windows will try to use as much as it needs in that moment to run faster. It's not being used, so why not?

There's your problem. You need more RAM.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.
