ddr5 laptop ram 5600vs4800?

so i got a decent laptop with a 7945hx

i want to upgrade to 64gb of ram cus i do 3d work and i more or less get to the 16gb i got right now all the time

 

found this 2.

1 is 4800mhz c40

2 is 5600mhz c46

i know latency is important. i also know that speed is important.

whats better for that cpu?

thats all needed right?...i didnt study for this exam....

Latency is measured in clock cycles, so counterintuitively the 5600 CL46 kit is actually better for latency (in the range of 0.2ns, so effectively nothing). Get that kit if you can.

It’s worth a try if it’s the same price. And they don’t have to use xmp

The problem is usually if a kit has a 5600 XMP, it'll run at 4800 JEDEC, so you will be getting a slower kit overall, and there will be no settings in the BIOS to try and change that.

are u sure? cus i read its supposed to use the max speed. cus i got a cpu that can use it
