Logitech G502 hero RGB shutting off after a few seconds

I've had the mouse for bout 8 months and its worked fine but now ALL the rgb turns off after a few seconds when turning on the mouse including the Logitech logo and it doesn't turn back on even when I press the DPI button I have to turn off and on for the mouse again to have the lights go back on and still only for a few seconds before going off again.

1- Do you have G Hub installed?

2- If yes go to RMA.

Logitech has been very good to me with RMAs.

Actually I wouldn't use G Hub other than for configuration. Store settings on your mouse.  This will ensure if the program crashes or if you take the mouse to another PC or another OS it always is setup the same. It will also eliminate a software issue.  Not to mention you don't need unnecessary software running on your PC.

Agree typically, but for diagnostic purposes...

My thought process here, was if GHub is shutting down or acting wonky, the RGB will also shut down. However if the OP sets up the RGB, stores the setting to the mouse and the RGB no longer fails, the hardware is not the issue.
