Hi! I have an old 20" Asus monitor, a friend of mine give it to me saying that He never used it a lot. As you can see in the attached video, when I plug it in a socket the only thing that happens is a short blue LED and then nothing else.

What can it be? Some component need to be change?

if you need something on the cheap cheap?
Look at thrift stores, I frequently see 22-24" 1080 screens for 15-20 bucks.  (If you don't mind crap displays)
