monitor Short blue LED then nothing happens.

Hi! I have an old 20" Asus monitor, a friend of mine give it to me saying that He never used it a lot. As you can see in the attached video, when I plug it in a socket the only thing that happens is a short blue LED and then nothing else.

What can it be? Some component need to be change?

it's probably dead.

and if it's an old screen, it's not worth more than about 5$ to fix

if you need something on the cheap cheap?
Look at thrift stores, I frequently see 22-24" 1080 screens for 15-20 bucks.  (If you don't mind crap displays)
