PC upgrade to AM5 socket

Hello, 

I am looking to upgrade my PC from AM4 to AM5 socket

For the CPU and RAM i went with the AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 4.5GHz and Corsair Vengeance RGB 64GB DDR5 6400MHz CL32 Dual Channel

For the motherboard on the other hand i had my eyes on the GIGABYTE X670 AORUS ELITE AX for it's multi M.2 slots but i am not sure if it's a good choice in terms of stability and bios interface. I do want at least 3 M.2 slots on the motherboard. the format i would still want an ATX

All the reviews i found are from 2023 and i was wondering what would be a best option on the motherboard to go with my CPU and RAM setup (off note: i am running currently a PowerColor Radeon RX 7800 XT Fighter 16GB GDDR6 256-bit as my GPU )

You don't need an X670 motherboard unless you plan to overclock this cpu, which isn't worth it in 2024. You can but a cheaper B650, and put the saved money towards 7800X3D. I also gotta ask why 64GB of ram, do you need it for video editing etc., because if no, you can also save money by buying 32GB, which is more than enough for gaming

If you have a decent AM4 board, the Ryzen 5800X3D performs like a 7700X and it wouldn't require you to change the RAM and the MBO.

I already have the CPU and RAM. i wanted the 64GB for 3d modelling and graphic design

And, based on that information, it makes no sense to upgrade to Zen 4 unless a 7900 or higher is needed for productivity.

Just get a 5700X3D or 5800X3D and a better cooler if you're using the box cooler that came with the 3700X.

Update the Bios to the latest, install the new CPU and you're golden.

It would make sense yes, but i want to make a PC for my parents using the old components plus i already have the new CPU and RAM:)). I just need to know if the GIGABYTE X670 AORUS ELITE AX is a good fit in terms of stability of the motherboard or do i need to look for something else

It's a good board. But I'd avoid Gigabyte (personal experiences).
