ok but yes as it will last longer

Good point. Is there an unlocked Haswell refresh i7, or is that one the only one on PCPartPicker?

Personally I would go a bit higher end on the motherboard at that price-point and save some money and get a i5 4670K and 8GB of RAM unless you really need a i7 and 16GB of RAM. I would also get a 120GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD instead but that is just personal preference.

PS: Possibly wait until early June for the new K edition Haswell Refresh processors to see if they are worth it.

My Current Build:

Intel i5 3570K @ 4.4GHz 1.11V, Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, Asrock Z77 Extreme4, Corsair Vengeance 8GB 1600MHz, Samsung 840 EVO 250GB, Asus GTX 760 DCII Overclocked, Corsair CX600M

I would see fit that your spending a lot of money. What is the purpose of this desktop pc? Gaming & maybe video editing?

eyefinity gaming

maybe a bit of youtube

eyefininty and youtube

Well might as well have a 1440p monitor vs eyefinity monitors. Not worth the effort when 2560x1440p is more demanding even with dual monitors (6120x1440p vs triple screen 5760x1080p.)

Personally it's not well constructed and you should re-edit your first post so whomever clicks on your post, can straight away understand what you're looking for.

1000w is a bit extensive, I'd get a 850w or 750w 80+ silver and above for clean efficiency & reliability.

I think for someone with 1330 posts you might've wanted to in the slightest read the http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/3061-build-plan-thread-recommendations-please-read-before-posting/

@Prokart2000 I was going to write the dark rock pro 3 might get in the way of your first 1x slot but it'll still be clear of the first 16X slot. I'm not quite sure of the low profile height space requirements, the dark rock pro 2 is a beefy cooler. Might be it accepts under 70mm but you'll have to look it up yourself on Be Quiet's website.

I'm very baffled right now and have utter no ideas what you're trying to comprehend to me now.

I know some people aren't the type to buy second hand hardware of this current gen but it does cost a fair bit cheaper then buying it off a good retailer like ebuyer.com erm.. overclockers.co.uk specialtech etc.

For example this person has enlisted their R9 290 for 225 quid. I have personally seen a new mint 770 from kfa2 for the same price.

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/XFX-AMD-R9-290-Radeon-4GB-DDR5-Graphics-Card-HDMI-DVI-Display-Port/351077883587?_trksid=p2047675.c100011.m1850&_trkparms=aid%3D222006%26algo%3DSIC.FITP%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140107083358%26meid%3D7128341987664640823%26pid%3D100011%26prg%3D20140107083358%26rk%3D3%26rkt%3D10%26sd%3D111220471927

Given that you are based in the UK with a 2.1 Grand budget. New is better right? (In my opinion it's 80% better unless I can get a great deal.)

Oh right. Didn't realize you were using an acronym for the site. Thanks for clarifying. I would get a 1440p monitor one R9 290, you can keep most of the hardware however I wouldn't need two R9 290 unless I wanna max out 1440p get a 850/750w psu.

I don't see the change from your original pcpartpicker list. You need to repost/re-edit your existing post and state that this is newer update one.

seems way better now :D you saved yourself 500 quid. If you're in need of an extra gpu that ebay link I gave you earlier doesn't seem that bad for an R9 290 which is 100 quid cheaper.

Didn't know aoc made a 1440p monitor :o
