What PSU do I need for my build?

xSkull
Go to solution Solved by Shadow Gamer,

Go ahead and get a Corsair CX 750M... http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ALK3KEM/?tag=pcpapi-20

It should be sufficient.

If you're not so sure, enter the parts into PCPartPicker and add 20 to the wattage it says it will output, and either upgrade or downgrade the PSU to your needs.

Fx 8320

Asus M5A97 LE R2.0

WD 1TB Blue

8.GB G.Skill Sniper Ram Cl9

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo

XFX R9 280

Im also planning to overclock but not extreme. Maybe 20-30% because I want to keep my parts safe :P

you could get away with a 500 watt GOOD power supply {Seasonic, corsair ... etc} but itll be close after the OC

X79A GD65 (8D), 3820, 7770, 16GB (1600Mhz cas9), 850watt(ocz zx), storm trooper, h100, xonar xense, sp2500, pc350, asus PA248Q LG 22'' ips, razor black-widow ultimate 2013, 120GB intel 520 series 128GB crucial M4 2*3TB barracuda 2*1TB barracuda 2TB Hitachi

I dunno what's your budget, but get this instead if possible. Much better internal components than the RM650,fully modular, semi hybrid cooling.looks way nicer imo.

Nah I'm not looking for a modular psu.

I think its not worth it because I'm getting a Nzxt h440 which already has great cable management! Ty though

I see. If that's the case, you can have a look at their TS series. http://xfxforce.com/en-us/products/ts-series-full-wired/ts-series-650w-psu-p1-650g-ts3x  or this http://pcpartpicker.com/part/xfx-power-supply-p1750snlb9.Still
