I recently broke my GT 730 and I'm still saving for a new GPU

But my dad gave me a GTX 550TI so I could use my PC (my PC has no integrated graphics)

I putted it in and there's no issue whatsoever but when I installed the GPU Driver of GTX 550TI it went black screen and restarting the PC over and over again.

I tried couple of fixed but it wouldn't work.

Such as hotfix driver

DDU

And it doesn't work.

I have a 700W PSU so I don't think that's the issue as well.

Please help

Try using windows in safe mode and see if it keeps restarting then. If it doesn't, then it will be a driver issue, maybe DDU was used incorrectly or failed to remove all.

Console.WriteLine("Hello World!");

I tried it as well, it doesn't work, on DDU I did the Clean and Restart option and it still didn't work (and yes I went to safe mode)

Edit: I forgot to mention that it boots normally on safe mode

Strange, if it works on safe mode I'd expect it to be a driver issue, but unless you have the wrong driver or something it can't be that.

I went with the GeForce Windows 10 Driver 353.62

It seems to be the right driver.

But is it optional to use driver easy?

Yeah, that's just an app that suggests drivers, I never use it.

Make sure you use DDU again, clean and shutdown, swap the GPU, then install that ^

I tried it, this time it doesn't show black screen but it doesn't seem to read my GPU? It still gives me the error 43.

Maybe I should try the driver easy next
