Might seem like a stupid question, but have you given minecraft more ram? Its in the launch options, you change the 2g to like half of your available ram I think is what they suggest. Minecraft is very ram heavy.

Haha yeah i tried that i umm sold the pc i am a great guy 🙂 building a new one lol i'll mark it as solved

Minecraft stutters for some reason no other game does i have stress tested my gpu and cpu and ram and they also have been running at advertised speeds and cool temps they all seem to be fine i have reset my pc 2-3 times updated the bios enabled xmp done everything i could think of any other games i play seem to run fine like valorant etc. i tried capping framerate in minecraft but it just makes it worse

Specs

Rtx 4060 pny vetero

R7 5700x

32gb ddr4 cl 18 g.skill ripjaws 2 x 16 gb memory

psu msi mag a650bn

motherboard gigabyte b550m k

I have tried changing minecraft launcher modded unmodded

tried going back versions same thing it still stutters here is the issue in one of the verisions with alt f3 screen shown

I have also tried changing java version tried using different java versions etc. looked at posts tried everything i could find does nothing. The mods used in the below clip can be found in the youtube video.

Used these java arguments -XX:+UseZGC -XX:+ZGenerational with java 21 but when i changed version i went back to defaults. All the launchers i tried are listed below The fps is also high and doesn't drop but it still stutters so i do not understand that either

Lunar client

Multi mc

default launcher

what are your storage specs?

Whats your RAM and VRAM usage?

PCIe slot in 4 x16?

Resizeable bar turned on?

Having stutters but only running at 10% seems kind of odd, it couldnt be screen tearing just?

whats the cpu running at?

10-15% but minecraft is a single threaded game so it doesn't utilise multiple cpu cores well

Are you using Gsync? Theres a thread currently ongoing where someone fixed a tear-ey/stuttery issue by changing to using Vsync instead of Gsync

Might seem like a stupid question, but have you given minecraft more ram? Its in the launch options, you change the 2g to like half of your available ram I think is what they suggest. Minecraft is very ram heavy.
