I want a 7900XTX but when the 50 series come out I'd probably just switch the 7900xtx with a 5090 or 5080, while keeping every other part? So preferably every part would be future proofed but id just swap out the gpu? or do you think i wouldnt be able to future proof the parts e.g ddr7

It's cheaper and gives like 20 fps less, and since im gonna swap out the gpu anyway it makes more sense no?

$10k US budget and, no disrespect, you give the vibe of a 15y/o. Are you sure this is something you're actually buying and this isn't just a "dream build"? It seems you've had a previous thread closed for this very thing.

You've been asking about random builds for the last 4 years, at least. I didn't go back any further.

Somehow isn't a dream build, you stick a 7800x3D and 4090 in a system and you're done, you can't really build anything faster today for games.

^^^

there really is no other way of going faster aside from overclocking and even that is pretty limited nowadays unless you wanna deal with subzero cooling

like 5k aud just for the pc and another 5k+ just for a cooler thatll cool all that down to < -100c and youll probably have to build said cooler yourself alongside other stuff like insulation, maintenence, etc. and you really gotta be one hell of a geek and an oc nut to have the will to do this

idk about you but i dont think anyone that isnt a hardcore oc nut with too much money to burn is gonna wanna build one of these just to drive the power bills up and probably not see much performance gain even if you are running a 7800x3d at >6ghz and a 4090 at >3.5ghz

i would totally build one just for the lols and for ocing the balls off my hardware if i had that much time and money to burn =p

i want the cpu cooler to have the gif thing screen and i wanna put a LED screen on the front of my pc so it looks cool

i might replace the gpu for a 50 series in the future so just want everything to be future proofed which is why everything is high

are these good parts? or can i get cheaper parts somewhere without sacrificing any performance or improve any parts with a little more / swapping anything out

My PC Currently Is The P2-1320a.

I have this now minus the 96GB of RAM (useless for gaming) and it’s dead silent.

Get a smaller psu, you can save money. Gigabytes 1000w is ok

No-one knows what a 5090’s power draw will be, and you should have enough leeway. If you want buy a bigger psu, but at worst you just do a light overlock to avoid spikes (which a good chunk of people to either way)
