MPOWER MAX Wi-Fi Question?

So i have the regular Mpower Max but i was wondering... If i bought an Intel AC wireless chip and stuck it in the holder that the Wireless N card is in now could I use the same antennas and use the new card just fine if i use the correct drivers for that card?

I have the non-AC MPOWER. If I got an AC wireless card from intel and replaced the 802.11n card currently in my mobo could i use the AC card with the same antennas just fine?

not as far as i know, im pretty sure the antennas from the mpower only work with the mpower

They would both be Mpower Boards and the holder that the laptop wi-fi card goes into has an adapter so the antennas can plug in and the antennas on the AC version and the non-AC look exactly the same......

The Antennas are different.

 

the antennas on the non AC version have a different connector than the AC version.
