Can't properly install Linux, software or hardware related issue?

I have spent a few days now trying to get Linux up and running on my daily driver desktop, however, I have not yet managed to get it working well. These are my specs:
______________________________________________________________________
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX X570-E
RAM: 64GB DDR4 3600MHZ
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X
GPU: NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super 8GB + AMD RX 570 8GB
Storage: 1TB Nvme + 2TB Nvme + 1TB SATA SSD + 4TB SATA SSD
Cooling: ASUS ROG STRIX LC II 360 AIO
Display: 24" Mission SG + 24" Mission SG + 39" Samsung Odyssey QLED display

I tried to install Ubuntu. Didn't work, the installation media would either freeze or reboot back into Windows after selecting Ubuntu in GRUB. I tried Debian, same result, I select graphical install, it reboots, and then back into Windows. I tried Mint, and it was the only install that was successful, however, it was an older version, 21.2 that I had laying around on a USB stick. The computer performed poorly in Mint, and I was advised to try Linux Mint Cinnamon Edge since it has a newer kernel. It did install, but didn't fix any of my problems.

I had to delete "PK Management Key" in BIOS to turn off Secure Boot. I got Linux Mint Cinnamon Edge running decently well after a while, but then the performance issues started to plague me. When I open Steam, the whole computer starts to lag/stutter. I couldn't play any games with proton until I disabled secure boot. Whenever I start a game in Steam, the computer starts to run at 1 FPS until the game starts, basically making the whole machine unusable. I tried both the APT and Flatpak version, and Flatpak made it a tiny bit better, but not much. GTA V started to flip out, only displaying the menu in 860x640 while claiming to be 5120x1440. Portal 2 was no better, setting itself to something like 8120x1440, and having no option to be 5120x1440.

After that horror-show, I decided to try Fedora. Fedora has the same problem, the whole computer just freezes or reboots when trying to enter the installation media. Linux Mint started flashing some random CPU errors when booting up, and then just disapeared, and I haven't been able to find any log messages since of CPU problems.

I decided to once again try Debian. I started the installer, it got into the graphical installer interface, and before I pressed anything, the computer crashed, with fans blasting at 100% speed and the DRAM LED going orange on the motherboard. After reboot, it went back into Linux Mint.

I have tried a lot of different BIOS/UEFI settings, and I honestly can't puzzle it together. Nothing makes sense, and my computer just seems to have some odd life of it's own.

I am not a total Linux Noob, I have been running Linux on a few laptops for the past 2-3 years, and I am working in IT with Linux as a Junior DevOps Engineer. Does anyone have any ideas of what could be wrong? I feel like I've tried everything, and nothing makes sense anymore...

Is linux stable if you disable global cstate in bios under Advanced > Amd CBS?

Or edit grub boot command, to force c-state 1

I think you are experience kernel panic which is causing the issues you are describing. Use journalctl to filter errors from the kernel logs

journalctl -p 0..3

I recommend trying Nobara since you're on Nvidia and game. It should solve most issues.

Asus Zephurs Duo 2023:

CPU: 7945HX

GPU: 4090M

OS: BazziteOS

Ubuntu, Mint and Debian are similar systems, their codebase is very close.

Fedora has always been a fickle distro, on some hardware it works perfectly, on other hardware you have bugs.

And Fedora is not the distro with the fewest bugs either.

There are some systems that can give you more success.

Sounds like your not installing the nvidia driver then your graphics drivers are arguing which gpu to render the graphical session.
