USB-C Power on ANYTHING? Even on my 10.5V Sony VAIO laptop?

Inspired by this video, I would like to see if this applies to my laptop as well.

I have a Sony VAIO S13 (model VJS131C11N) which is indeed very light. It uses a 10.5V 3.8A power adaptor.

I have a 100w GAN USB-C charger around my house. Will this work with my setup? I want to make my travel setup lighter.

I have read about USB PD and its supported voltages.

If it won't work due to my laptop's input voltage, do I have any alternatives?

Thank you for your help.

Then you already know the answer, 10.5V isn't supported.

And that "adapter" is an abomination that shouldn't exist, how exactly does that communicate which voltage the device wants?

The answer is: it most probably doesn't and if it delivers the advertised 100W, then it is locked into 20V mode... which is gonna fk up your 10.5V expecting laptop.
