I am experiencing buzzing  through my speakers that seems to be directly correlated to what's happening on screen. (I.e. I move my mouse or character in a game and the noise changes frequency and pattern accordingly)

I am running a 5.1 setup through an ae-5 Plus pcie sound card.

The sound is present in all channels, however is most prominent in the rear speakers.

This only happens in games.

I've recently installed a new motherboard, no buzz at all back then.

It only started happening after installing a chipset and audio driver update through armory crate.

I have since tried installing an older version of the drivers, but the buzzing persists.

The noise is maddening, especially as somebody who has invested in high quality amplifiers, speakers, and sound card, and a musician.

I'm turning it over to my Bros here for some help.

You will need to get a few cheap grounding loop isolators to resolve it.

If it was caused by a driver/software, really all you can do is find and uninstall those drivers manually or reinstall Windows.

If it's just an interference issue there are specific hardware items you will need to purchase I am not familiar with.

Just now, Ranch_Dressing said:

Any links ?

This is the ones I use personally, one on each end with a 3.5mm Jack and it filters that annoying wine/buzzing noise you hear over the speakers or headphones.
