Asus RT-AX57 VS TP-Link AX55? Or others router recommendation?

Crafting

Hello

Currently rocking a Linksys EA7500 (AC1900), looking to upgrade.

My desktop is 10 meters away from the nearest LAN cable. (30 feet for you Americans). Wireless will have to do, unfortunately.

Currently the Linksys I have gives me around 100mb, which I can't say impresses me. I have a wifi card on the motherboard the TX50E AX3000, which should be able to use the two specified routers greatly.

I am looking at the moment on two similar, and similar priced routers:

the ASUS RT-AX57

and the TP-Link AX55

As I am using Steam Remote Play Together a lot, a better connection would be great!

Other routers aren't similarly priced in Denmark where I live, so suggestions might not work as intented here.

Which would you recommend?

I live in a seperated apartment in a city. The building (meeting building) has several networks that I also use as they can be faster than my own router. Down in the basement is the ISP router modem thingy, that my router is directly connected to, if that means anything.

Thanks for the help. Looking forward to assistance and guidance.

Looking at the specs on paper, these are basically the same router, except that the ASUS has a faster processor. I think ASUS has a little bit better software support and annoys you less about using their cloud services. I would lean towards the ASUS on this one.

There's also the used market and places like Amazon Renewed if you want to either save money or get a better router for the same price.
