Buying the new lg oled UW screen

I was waiting for a long time to buy the new ultrawide screens that will come out at 2024 and thats the one im willing to go with

there is one thing that is bottering me about this screen and thats the agresive 800r curve, i think i dont like curve screens.

that what preventing me atm from buying it . Also the asus version of this oled screen have 800r curve aswell, so there isnt really other option unless i go with less better previos years screens

 

Tell me what do you think about this screen and about my ptoblem.

Go find and look for any 34” curve UW actual unit before decide.

 

Normally 34” and above UW is curve as it look much better and usability in curve than flat.

Normally I'd not mind a curve on ultrawide monitors, but 800R is rather extreme. I'd suggest looking at such a display in person or at least buying it at a retailer with a good return polic in case you don't like it.

Thats what i did i buy it from amazon , that i have 1 month to return it if i dont like it

800r isnt just a curved uw monitor, i have curved 34 monitor atm but 800r is very extream curve, and i think its somthing that you could only feel if its good for you or not after few hours/days of using the screen,

That the reason I ask you check at shop. I have LG OLED Flex which is only 16:9 but can curve up to 900R and I am fine with it. 
 

I believe 800R in 21:9 still ok, but you should check it physically first.

I bought the screen already from amazon 2 days ago , i think that only see the curve on store wont help me to decide since curved screen is somthing you need to try for few days and maybe get use into it, aswell amazon got a good return policy if i didnt like the screen

Depends on user, some forever can’t accept curve.

 

Some is ok, I straight accept curve when my first time seen it.

Ye i did accept it aswell but its depends on how big the curve is, 800 curve is dmn agresive
