Just get something with the switch type you want. For mechanical clicking, you're pretty much looking at Cherry blues or Gateron blues, unless you want to dive into the world of Akko clickies (good) or Outemu blues (very common at this price point...run away). I personally prefer the Gateron blues, but I hate blues in general so ymmv.

A shitty keyboard with the switches you want can be made decent with EVA foam and either painters tape or electrical tape, but a decent keyboard with shitty switches is a guaranteed way to spend an extra $25-40 on the switches you want. There are Cherry blue and Gateron blue boards at your price point, but there's also a lot of Outemu and proprietary trash out there.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

yeah I went on amazon and tried to see what my options were and I actually changed my mind and went 75% but there was only one that would come in a day anyway at this pricepoint.

If you can spare an additional 16$ I'd recommend the RK84 with a 20% discount. It's the keyboard I'm currently using. The stock switches are decent, it has an in built USB hub but the hub only works when wired, it can also connect wirelessly through bluetooth and the 2.4ghz dongle it comes with that nestles in the back of the keyboard. The bezzle is removable, and the switches are hot swappable, meaning in the future if something breaks, or you just want a different switch it's a pretty easy and quick process to swap them around.  I've swapped the switches in mine to some Gateron Milky Yellows.

The build quality is solid, the sound is good thanks to the build and foam it uses. I've been using this keyboard for 1-2 years at this point and I'm very satisfied with it.

I like some of the features like the usb hub yeah. I actually would want mx greens since thats what's in my deskptop keyboard ive used for the last 10 years, but barely anyone makes em so I'd have to swap it all out.
ehh I panic ordered the other one after I was seeing that it would not come in one day unless i ordered withing 90min but I can always return it.

I also am not sure how much I will even use it since its for a temporary setup since i'm traveling a ton. When the work is done I wont have any use for one haha
