driver.... big problem....

Go to solution Solved by Levent,

i use slimdrivers and it works + it is free

does anyone knows if there is a software that shows you the driver you need? i'm serching 2 days and i cant find anything...

Yeah, its actually pretty simple.  Just look at the component you want a driver for, and search it up :D If you want chipset, sata drivers they are found on the motherboard's manufacterer's support page.  If you want graphics card drivers they are found on the graphics card  manufacterers support page.  I wouldn't recommend it but you can also just install all your drivers from the disks.  Pretty easy.

because you just go to device manager, find the hardware driver you want to update and find out the driver version.  Then go to the driver website and see if there is a later driver.

actually its pretty quick, and is the safest path.  If you use software to update your driver automatically EG:DriverBooster it can cause lots of issues such as corrupt drivers, incorrect installation and for a chipset driver or sata driver that can cause blue screens galore and instability like crazy.  I know because I did it with a sata driver, reinstall after reinstall.  Finally.

I recommend doing it manually or just updating all your drivers.

that is the right answer!

slimware is partnered with AVG I think, I work for AVG.  I hate that program's guts allot of people also think its malicious.  I dont recommend using it but oh well.  I'm here if you ever run into trouble :)

go on the start menu and type in Device Manager and double press on the a section you want to update and then the product name should come up,on the product name press left on the mouse button and Properties and then on the select the Details tab. Once you have selected that press on the drop down menu select Hardware IDs and copy the first number into Google and it should tell u what version it is and then go to the manufacture website and check what latest version there is available to download and then lastly go back to the device manager and select driver tab and see what driver you have got installed. If its not the latest one as the manufactures website says, download and install that driver.
