Good day guys I'm planning to build a pc sometime this year. I'va already posted in the new build guide section of the forum. my question is between these guys:

gigabyte http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128723

asus z97-k http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97K/

asus sabertooth z97  http://www.kitguru.net/components/motherboard/luke-hill/asus-sabertooth-z97-mark-1-motherboard-review/

i understand that these are all good motherboards. but how about the quality vs performance vs durability vs price between these.

thanks in advance guys

p.s. i really liked the sabertooth but the color sucks. gigabyte has the color scheme that would fit my theme around the white and black of the nzxt phantom 530

Take a look at the warranties of the motherboard, it says a lot in terms of emphasising the longevity, reliability and stability of a board. Personally I'm sold on all three but I have to put my hand down on the Z97K

@ihatecomputers

  It is all about what features it has.  Choose a motherboard that is the least expensive while still having all of the features that you need.  You should be able to find one for $150 or less.

In my opinion if you want to overclock massivley and get the most features, the Gigabyte z97x-ud3hBK is going to be the best.  But I have a z87 gryphon from Asus and I think the the Asus TUF line (z97 Sabertooth) is the best in the way of stability and overall are really awesome.

So, it depends on what you want out of your motherboard.

I kinda wished that the colour was different, but it's very unique the green camo military look other than MSI's 2011 Military class 3 motherboards like the big band xpower 2 and x79a-gd65(8D) generic blue and black/silver and black and gold

I've got the armour kit on mine.  It hides pretty much all the colours.

And in all honesty the green heatsink, you can barely see unless you've got lighting around it but I can see the camo sticker being an issue.
