Mobile Youtube not saving videos to history (maybe its revanced fault?)

I dont know exactly when this started but it was recently, within the last 2 days. Any video i view on my youtube revanced app doesnt get saved to my history. I remember this happened in around 2022 but that was a bug with the entire youtube service.

Viewing on pc does save to my history. Anyone else experiencing this on stock mobile or revanced app? Is youtube trying to crack down on using revanced by stopping videos getting to history?

 

Update:

Just tested this on a family members phone and their history does save, they are on 19.08.35. So it seems like either youtube revanced is fucking something up, or youtube are being massive bellends again.

Ah shit. It seems like maybe youtube is trying to crack down on revanced usage. Or its a problem with revanced and will get fixed. Or its a general mobile app problem and youtube will fix it eventually. Hopfully one of the last 2

I am also facing this issue but only to videos, short are saving in YouTube history

Same issue here. Using the latest version of ReVanced (v19.04.37) and also i whitelisted *s.youtube.com and s.youtube.com in adway

Tbh i dont think its version specific thing. My version (i think) is 18.32.39 (by going PFP in topright > Settings > About). Plus My UI changes without updating anyway se they definitely could've fucked with this without updating the app.

Hola. No es un problema de YouTube, la aplicación anda bien en computadora y teléfonos, es un problema de Revanced. Instalé algunas versiones anteriores y el problema sigue. No encuentro ninguna solución.

What i mean is that is could be youtube detecting that a different mobile client is being used (Revanced) and so not doing what its supposed to as a way of punishing revanced users. But yes this could 100% be a revanced issue aswell.

I'm having the same issue unfortunately. Shorts get saved but normal videos don't.

As a short hater that irrationally annoys. But that is not happening to me anyway, just tested it, watched a short for most of the way though, and its not showing in history

I saw that they released a fix. I didn't have time to test for myself but hopefully it works.

Patched my YT Revanced again yesterday, watch history is now fixed. Grab the latest patch, if you're reading this.
