I'd cut the cooler to a peerless assassin, get a case that includes the fans like Lian Li's 216 and then use the money to upgrade:

- Storage (more of it).

- Graphics card.

and/or

- Get a better monitor than 1080p.

Why are you building this for 1080?
You can easily clear 165hz 1440 on that build on ultra settings.

Running this at 1080 is an absolute waste

Yeah second this op. Your build has a lot of wasted money on for example the cooler as this thermalright is literally just as good.

@filpogave you a MUCH better gpu AND a monitor and well basically just a better pc overall for the same price.

Only change I might make is opt for 6000mhz memory as amd does prefer that but it's not necessary.

You want an ATX 3.0 for these RTX 40XX series cards due to the adapter and DDR5 6000 CL30. Here's a case that's easier to work with when using an AIO ... it has separate standoffs for your board when using an AIO to give you more headroom. Replace the 140mm exhaust fan that's included with this case with the 140mm ARGB fan down below.

Either get a 1440p monitor or spend like half of your budget.  Almost all of this is waste.

I edit the shit out of my posts.  Refresh before you respond.

The 7800X3D is fairly easy to cool. No need for an AIO.

Use a memory kit with EXPO profiles.

Consider a 2TB NVMe drive. It's surprising how quickly 1TB can be filled.

Use ATX 3.0 compliant PSU with native 12VHPWR connector support.

Consider a smaller case and A-RGB fans that can be controlled by the motherboard.

do NOT use a bottleneck calculator. they're full of shit

No you definitely won't have a bottleneck at 1440p, not even at 1080p

really? just get an arctic LF3 360mm ARGB. It's cheaper, probably performs better, and due to the new pump, I think looks better

fans

there's no point, unless you have to have the aesthetics

Get the Montech Sky Two instead, it's half the price and looks just as good in my opinion. Also has three fans so you won't need to buy any extra with a 360 rad up top
