be quite dark rock pro 4 stock fans vs arctic p12 max

aren332

I have 2 arctic p12 max in my be quite dark rock pro 4, just wondering if the temps will be similar with the stock fans, and if i should replace the p12 max with stock fans, since the stock fans are much quiter.

The P12s can be controlled by PWM to 0 RPM, so you can try that if noise is a problem. But in terms of temperatures, unless those fans are being used on a liquid cooling radiator, there isn't going to be much of a difference.

Much better temps with the P12 Max. Quieter with SW3 fans.

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.
