Hello all, today I would like to know if this is a good upgrade or not. I currently have a EVGA GTX 560 Ti in my girlfriend's build and want to change to an ASUS Radeon R7 260X. Is this a decent upgrade or bad? I don't know how AMD compares to nvidia so I am clueless. If not, is there a cheap upgrade possible? On a budget of less than $200.

The 260x is more of a side-grade than an upgrade from a 560 Ti. Get a 270: http://pcpartpicker.com/part/msi-video-card-r9270gaming2g

It's been out for a white. It's a 7850 rebrand.

Still, I didn't know a 265 was out at all, lool. I didn't mean my 'wat' to be insulting to you, just so you know :)

Man I need to pay more attention. I like Nvidia more, but I like to know whats on the market so I can make recommendations to friends and other people I know just in case.

What res are you playing at? I'd probably keep the 560Ti or move up to a 760/670 if I could find one cheap enough.

670 is faster than 760 and can often be found cheaper used/refurbed.

We don't have the money to upgrade to a 670 or 760. Hence why I was looking at AMD, those seem to be a bit cheaper.
