Has anyone tried using Ultrasonic Cleaning Machines to clean their iFixit screw bits?

I have owned an iFixit Manta Driver Kit for a while, and its starting to oxidize / rust. I am planning to use an Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine to clean the screw bits. Is this a good idea and has anyone tried it?
