Is YouTube still doing the 5 ads?

I was just casually watching youtube when i got blasted by 5 UNSKIPPABLE ads. I had to wait 45 seconds to end the ads, it would have been 1 minute but thankfully the last ad was skippable. is this still a thing, or is youtube restarting 'expiriments'?

yeah i get them on longer videos. I'm disappointed : /

what device? is it not PC where adblock can be utilized?
