confluent on centos 7

Hi do any one know how to set up confluent on centos 7?

i found only 2 setup doc one was like 7 years old the other from confluent webpage

i was trying to set it up and have syslog-kafka(source) and kafka-mongoDb(sink) connector set up

but was not able to access the localhost:9021 not sure if its even runing .

i tried the set up in windows using wsl and was able to set it up without have to do any config settings. (almost same as linux )

if anyone can help out with this it will be great.
