Jellyfin on Pi3 controled by LG magic remote

Good day,

 

Thanks for reading my post.

I recently been having problems with my tv and jelly fin. Some come content started to lag (other devices didnt have this problem). I recently found out that most TVs only have a 100mb rj45 port on them. Due to my TV being a c9 I can not disable the wifi. If you know how, please let me know.

So I was thinking of using a rasberry pi3b and have it run the jellyfin client, and have the magic remote work as a mouse. 
Does anyone know if this is possible and how to go by doing it?
