I sold my LG C2 42" and looking forward to the new QD-OLED 4K 32"

rotexen

I started with the Asus PG279Q and then moved to the Alienware QD-OLED AW3423DW

then I sold the Alienware and bought the LG C2 42" used it for 6 months then sold it yesterday and now I'm waiting

for all the reviews for the new 4K 32" QD-OLED.

I'm leaning towards the MSI Version I don't like the Curved Alienware, and the Asus is Expensive.

I just got a LG B2 its similar to a c2.  I hope you end up liking your new monitor more! what were the main reasons for a downgrade in size?

I'm too into the size to sell. Waiting for the 45" 5120x2160 21:9 ultrawide OLED's before letting go of this C2.

I cant go bigger than 32"

After testing 42,34,27 i must say

32" 4k is the sweet spot for me.

Agreed! I've done so many combos of single and dual setups with 27, 32, 34, and 42, and 48.

32" 4K is the sweet spot! My only issue is that I'm MacOS and I would love it if Apple sold a 32" that wasn't $5000 -_- I love my 27-inch Studio Display, but I frequently find myself wishing I had my Dell 32" Ultrasharp when working with a lot of windows or watching a movie.

Yeah this is a matter of scaling. That Apple Studio Display is 5120 x 2880 which would be amazing, however at 27" its unusable at 100% scaling so you can't make use of all those pixels.

This is intentional on their part as that res at 27" makes for a very high PPI resulting in a very sharp image. Their whole idea behind "retina" displays.

That being said 4K @ 32" allows for comfortable 100% display scaling usage and being able to make use of the space.

I actually run my Studio Display at 3200x1800 instead of the default 2560x1440. It's still incredibly crisp.

But at 27-inches, it becomes a nuisance trying to navigate several windows and bringing myself to closer to the screen to read the smaller windows.

I'm just worried that if I get a non-Apple screen again, I'll be disappointed by backlight bleeding and panel uniformity, I'll need to calibrate the screen to match my iPhone/iPad for photo editing, and I'll be giving up the excellent built-in microphone and speakers. The Studio Display might be a "bad value" as a display, but as a whole package, it's wonderful 😢

The solution is OLED, or at least Mini-LED with a good amount of local dimming zones.

Yeah I guess you're right. It seems like the only decent solution without paying a fortune in the miniLED world is the $700 INNOCN 32-inch with 1152 zones. Because from there, the price jumps up significantly to $1200 ASUS PG32UQXR 576 zones, $1900 ASUS PG32UQX 1152 zones, or $3000 ASUS PA32UCG 1152 zones.

The Dell Ultrasharp 32-inch IPS Black would probably be perfect for me, but if I'm going to "upgrade" from my Studio Display, I would like to also have 120Hz lol. sigh.

Only OLED can match or better than the quality of Apple screen for the moment, except text clarity.

None of the Mini LED in the market can have quality of Apple display. You will be disappointing with the Mini LED panel uniformity or dimming zone performance.

None are out yet so depends on price locally. Alienware curved one I also don't want. I think MSI one is to cost more, Asus more or less around there too. Personally I'm waiting the 480Hz matte models though.
